burn series
Forest fires are a natural part of life in the bush. They can threaten communities, wildlife and destroy vast amounts of timber but they are also a natural part of the ecosystem and important for maintaining the health and diversity of the forest. Although threatening, they are a reality. The burn paintings are all about representing that reality and seeing the beauty of the aftermath.
